Shipping Policy
We ship product so it will arrive within the same week and not sit over the weekend on a dock. Thus, on Thursdays we ship only 1-day shipments and we don't ship on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays to ensure product freshness. For shipping, our order cut-off time is 1 p.m. CST. Click here to view our UPS map to determine how many days it takes for a ground shipment to reach you. Our policy is to send out your order as fast as possible and to make sure all product arrives in its freshest state.
Ground shipment orders received on Wednesday will go out on Monday if it is a 3-day or more transit time ... otherwise your order will be sitting somewhere over the weekend and the 3-day transit turns into a 5-day transit! If you live within 2-days transit, then we will ship your order on Wednesday.
IMPORTANT! You must have a prior arrangement with UPS to leave a package if you are not home at the time of delivery. Contact UPS at 1-800-PICK-UPS (742.5877) or simply write "Deliver without a signature" in the Additional Comments in the ckeck-out cart.
Ground Shipments - So, how fast will it get to me?
Note on the map that some states are split between 1 and 2 days and 2 and 3 days transit and some states have three different zones on ground shipments. So, if you live in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, it's a 3-day shipment, but we coded North Carolina as a 2-day state since "marjority rules." If you live beyond the 2-day transit required for say, baguettes, please do yourself a favor and choose 2-day air. Your baguettes will thank you.
Shipping Options: 1-day, 2-day, 3-day, ground
Products with the shortest life (items marked 2-day or 1-day ship) will determine the shipping of your entire order. For folks who live within a 1-day or sometimes 2-day radius of IL, ground shipment remains an option. Customers who live in states that require a 3-day transit or more for ground shipment will not have a ground shipment option if the order includes products that require a 2-day or 1-day ship. This is to ensure your products arrive in its freshest state. Since we know that overnight and 2-day shipments can be expensive, we have passed along our negotiated discounts to you.
Shipping Exceptions
We ship via UPS. We are unable to ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
